Maj Dr Imran Rashid completed his PhD from University of Manchester in Sep 2011. During his PhD, he worked on MIMO Wireless systems. He did his MSc from Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in Telecom Engg (2004). He worked on various optical transmission aspects of Gigabit Ethernet in his MS thesis. He did his BE from MCS-NUST (1999) and was awarded COAS Gold Medal for securing First position.
He is working as an Assistant Professor at College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCS), a constituent college of National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), since Sep 2011.
His research interests include MIMO Wireless systems, HARQ combining schemes for MIMO systems, MIMO Cooperative Systems, Green Communication, Resource allocation of MIMO Systems, Multi-user MIMO systems, Cognitive MIMO systems, FEMTO Cells.
