INTRODUCTION
|
|
Asst Prof Fazal Ahmed graduated (BE Telecomm) from MCS, then a campus of UET Lahore, completed his MS in Electronics and Telecommunications from Nanjing Institute of Communication Engineering (NICE), Peoples Republic of China. He has served in the armed forces and has a unique experience of planning, implementing, operating and maintaining telecommunication systems. He has contributed significantly in the establishment of Frequency Allocation Board (FAB) Pakistan and managed the Radio Communication aspects (frequency) of armed forces (Tri services ). Has a vast teaching experience at university level that includes serving in MCS as Instructor Class B (1989-1992) and as Asst Professor (1999- till date). At MCS he has served at assorted appointments as Program coordinator and DS Coord. He has also served at HQ NUST as Assistant Director Academics.
He has research interests in applied fields of telecomm i.e. microwave, mobile and satellite systems.
